Overview:
Qurrah is a Children's Hospitality Support Program specifically designed for working women in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It serves as a unified online portal gathering information related to the child care sector in the country. The platform facilitates communication between hospitality centers, enabling them to offer their services and market them to guardians seeking child care facilities for their children.
Technical Stack:
Qurrah is built using a combination of technologies including:
- React.js
- Redux for the frontend
- Bootstrap for styling
- Django for the backend
- MySQL for the database
- Docker for containerization,
- Google Maps API for location services.
This stack ensures the platform's robustness, scalability, and usability.
My Contributions:
As a frontend developer on the Qurrah project, I undertook the task of upgrading React to the latest packages. This involved modifying a significant portion of the project code to accommodate the changes in package versions and ensure the elimination of package vulnerabilities. Through diligent efforts, we successfully delivered a secure and high-quality codebase.
During the development phase, I also took on the responsibility of implementing a new rating feature for users. Utilizing Bootstrap and Redux architecture, I designed and integrated this feature into the platform, enhancing the user experience and functionality.
